Low Budget Prerunner Build
ever since september i have been working on my truck and doing minor things to it and i finally got internet on my phone so i can post pictures of it all. I know its nothing like some of the ones with Full long travel and fiberglass all around, but this is from a 18 y.o fresh out of highschool going to college full time and working part time. First off when i bought it it had 31x10.5 goodies, and fabtech uca, since then first i did was put on some fiberglass fenders and a fiberglass hood, next i went to trying to increase the travel of it as much as possible so once i got the fiberglass on i put on some low profile bump stops and then put on some bj spacers, then i did the isr, after that i mounted some kc 100w lights and mounted them on the front, just the other day i got some american racing wheels and put those on and took off the "deepdish" wheels, To me they looked stupid and the p.o i guess liked them. Thats what i have done so far, someday this truck will have long travel and bedcage and fiber all around but slow and steady it is evolving
low profile bumps
isr
bj spacers
What it looks like as of now.

oh god, here we go again.....
upgrade your shocks. you could go with a replacement bilsten or if you know someone how can fab up some shock mounts look into a 2.0 fox, king, or f.o.a. reservoir shock. they can be found pretty cheap if you buy them used. also keep your eyes peeled for a downey idler arm gusset. it helped my steering a lot. try looking in the classifieds on race-dezert.com dezertrangers.com and sometimes things come up on CL also.

no offense on the Blazeland kits, but I've learned the hard way of going cheap with things... I personally think i'd still go with total chaos kits... its actually a really easy install and my god those coil overs look sexy.

Careful with the Fabtech upper and BJ spacers. That upper is a little longer than the stock upper and has the ball joint mount modified appropriately- the arm acts similarly to a stock upper + spacer. You are now at a point where the strut (the arm from the front xmember down to the lower arm) is adversely pulling on the lower arm as you lift / extend the front and this can significantly affect your alignment angles: more lift will pull the lower arm forward and aligning the suspension in this situation will result in all major alignment angles shifting in a detrimental manner when the suspension compresses.
