Lots of 22re q's, not many answers in Australia
Hi guys, Long time reader First time member.
I have just done a rebuild on my 93 22r (Australia never had the "re" in its utes, just coronas and celicas) and while i was at it i tried converting it to EFI, problem was the injectors wouldn't fire which i diagnosed as a bad ECU. So i've decided to megasquirt it and i'm after some advice.
1) Is there any differences between 22r and a 22re dizzy other than the vac advance. Can i cap this off to use a good 22r dizzy.
2) Can in use the AC VSV with Megasquirt?
3) Does anybody have any pics of the Vac lines from an 85/86 22re i cant seem to find the right angle. especially of the AS VSV, the AC VSV and the fuel damper. I'm not going to be running any EGR or emissions stuff so i just need the bare essentials
Any help will be greatly appreciated thanks
