looking for winch bumper, opinions?

after getting creamed by a deer i decided its the perfect time to upgrade my bumper and after looking i have narrowed it down to two, the one from addicted off road or4x innovations.
My questions are what are peoples experiences with these bumpers? how well do they fit? and how is customer support/service/dealing with the company in general?

I like Scotty @ ADdicted and his design. My buddy runs his stinger less bumper and it is stout. Not too heavy like the boat anchors from ARB and Warn.

I like Scotty because he is on here, you can PM him (hows that for CS), and I have seen his welds and bumper in action. Flawless. Fitment was perfect. Perfect flat area for horizontal blinker mounting (I cant stand to see them mounted diagonal on other bumpers). I saw bumper get mounted in about 20 min. I am going with the one with the stinger because I like the design and it doesn't block your headlights like others.

Not too mention they look soo good on the 1st gen runners/2nd gen trucks. Oh and because it is based off the TG winch mount you get a nice front hitch for d ring, unlike 4x Inno.

Stagger.... I will agree with you the bumper is heavy, but it also provides great protection for the front of my truck...lol... Let the deer play chicken with me, and for the idiot that decides to pull out in front of me...well... you know!!!

But on the other hand I really do like the Scotty's bumper. Very clean!!

If you don't have first hand experience then all you are doing is spreading an unfounded rumor. I'm sure he would appreciate it if you stopped.

I deal with 4xInnovations all the time and Adam is a one man shop like myself, so he gets BUSY, but always dependable and does top quality work.

ARB and Warn are the only bumpers strong enough to stop Chuck Norris.

I think they look BA on the 3rd gen trucks/2nd gen runners, like yours Ragin. If I had one and could afford either one of those bumpers I would go there.

I would also like to say I want to try and support all the vendors on here throughout my build. I want Wab Fabs bikini top in the spring, and 4xinno's tube doors (seen those in action too ).

I also have a Warn. The difference between the warn and arb is the distance it sticks out. the arb is shorter but you need a winch with a remote mounted solenoid to use it I believe. the warn sticks out further but you can use a winch w/ built in solenoid.

Agreed, Adam is top-notch guy. Got my bumper and sliders from him and couldn't be happier.

I've always been a big fan of the DOM-Tube style bumpers; I'm going with a Marlin Cawler, front and rear, in the near future

X2, I have the Warn also and you either really like it or really hate it.......there is no in between.
Picture a firetruck front bumper, especially if you don't have the top tube or winch.....which I don't.

I just mounted up my bumper from Scotty @ Addicted Off Road. I haveto say I LOVE this bumper. The stinger shows just above the hood, it's stout, but you won't have to replace your front springs' the welds are clean, and the fit was perfect. I can take some pics if you are interested. I'm running it on an 87 white 4Runner. For the price, go Addicted!!

Scotty communicated through the process AND followed up. (reminds me I need to PM him back!)

i like the look of the full plate bumpers like arb/warn but they are so heavy and expensive i think im better off with just the tube bumper, so it sounds like both companies are good to deal with so i think im going to go with the one from addicted, 87lvrunner could you post some pics of your runner with the bumper?

btw raginyota your truck looks awesome!
