not sure if its class 3 but http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/armor.htm
you could reinforce it if you can weld

Why not just weld/fab a reciever into it...?

yeah your gonna have a hell of a time finding one like that. if you cant weld/fab just take it to a fabricator and tell em what you want

so you wouldn't trust it as a bolt on then. because once it's welded to the frame that's it. if the bumper ever gets smashed and i need to take it off i really can't.
hmmm doesn't seem logical then.

I towed my toyotas 16ft car hauler with the marlin crawler rear bumper the other day (Well actually about a month ago...lol), and it towed fine, little rough but it didnt move any, and that trailer wieghs 1600lbs. Just keep an eye on the bumper as you are towing it. BTW I asked marlin if I could tow a 4wheeler with the bumper and he said yeah, so there you go!! Just watch it!

You probably will not find one that tells you what it is rated at, because they would have to go through a lot to get the rating and then they would have liability issues. That is the reason, most all say that they are only for offroad use. It covers their butt in case some doo mas doesn't install it right and it falls off on highway.

That being said, I would bet that the majority are built fairly well and will hold anything you should be towing with the 3.0

I have that front bumper and was going to order the rear to match.....the rear one is really expensive $650-800 was the quotes I got and I only paid $450 for the front one.
I looked all over for one similar and have decided to have one made and add some extra features.
I'd love to make my own as I am a good welder and fabricator but, I don't have a garage, a welder of my own, and I'm working too much to have the time anyway.
On a side note my front bumper is very beefy, I'm quite sure that rear one is too.
