Lookin at toyota with linkage problems
i found a deal for a 1986 toyota that had the whole motor rebuilt and bored with a rebuilt trany put in with brand new 33's on it, he said right after he got the motor done the linkage binded up or broke. How much would this cost to fix and is it a good deal at 1000?

hmmm... 1000 for
a rebuilt engine (not a motor- motors are electric) -900 on craigslist
a rebuilt transmission (not a trans- those come from San Francisco) - 500 on craigslist
33's (keep those away from the SF trans) - 100 each
broke linkage (I bet the SF trans broke the linkage) - free
And the question was?
