long day of front end noise..

I just got out of the mountains and I have a headache from all the noise. I have a terrible banging sound in my front end when I go over bumps. It seems to be getting worse. The shocks are new (Rancho 9000) and there are ball joint 2" spacers also new. I remember this knocking pounding sound before I did the lift. I have an idea it is the ball joints. However, I thought I would run it by Yotatech to make sure.
Please help.

find out for sure, look in the fsm to find out how to test the ball joints.

how bad is the bump to make the sound? does it do it even with the slightest bump? if so, have someone bounce up and down on the front end an have a look or listen to see or hear where its comming from

Its bad! Real bad. I got so tired of it I parked my truck and hunted a spot I have never been. Actually it was good. I saw a huge sow bear and a cub and another traveling bear, but no deer.

Other than the ball joints what else could it be??
thanks

well,we know it's making noise, but can you be a tad more specific about when it makes noise, like a bump up, or a pothole down, or... more often turning left or right....
is your swaybar still connected and are the bushings on the frame good?

forgive me.
It makes noise on the bump down . the swaybar is still there. I just replaced the idler arm and pitman arm. It makes the noise going left or right but mostly going straight. If I hit even a small pot hole or small rock it bangs like hell. I can feel it through my whole body.

Check all your control arm bushings. I had a bad rattle once that turned out to be a blown upper control arm bushing causing the t-bar to actually hit the body on bumps.
