locking hubs doh help

Okay guys well ive been getting terrible mileage (I think its been steady bad since i got my runner a few months ago..) I did about a month ago take apart the aisin manual hubs and clean them up.... I just had a brain fart and i realized that when i spin either wheel (on the front) in the lock or FREE position my cv boots...shaft to the front diff... and the driveline going back to tcase all spin!...

Im relatively sure that I put the hubs back together correctly and they make a nice click sound going into position...

any ideas

oh and as a side note this is my first 4x4 so excuse my stupidity for not noticing this sooner or thinking about it....

Is there anything that can cause the hubs to stick like this?? Or is there something tricky i buggered up when takeing them apart?

any input would be great
