Light mounts... But off bumper/roof
Got a pair of 8" kc's sitting in the back of the 4runner... They really need to get re-mounted...
Bumper doesn't work, the new winch mount doesn't have space, and I have a habit of putting the front bumper into solid objects
Roof's a bad spot, trails we ride are tight, almost ripped the visor off a few times...
Looking for some other ideas, Was looking at the cowl today, not enough depth on the drivers side for the mount.
Anyone found/built an a-pillar mount?
Here's the truck for reference:
Thanks in advance,
Andy

I know it's a Jeep, but is there a way you could have some brackets fabbed up?

See skid plate damage I'm thinking they'd be a bit low...
Fabbing isn't a problem, was looking for something pre-engineered to copy

i mounted some hella's on my brothers yj. we just drilled holes through the hood as far back towards the windsheild as we could. just have a buddy hold the one on the drivers side to make sure you can see. with a driving lights you may have a little glare but shouldnt have much of a prob. bein mounted on the hood.. just my 2 cents

i fabbed up some mounts out of some metal i had lying around to put them up near my windshield. they bolt in with a factory fender bolt, so no drilling needed. since i put them so far out, though (to allow the hood to open freely), they do jiggle an awful lot over bumps at higher speeds. thicker metal would be good but i was using primitive tools to bend them. there are the only pics i have

to add to it, the firestik hood channel mounts work just fine for that, but the lights have to be turned sideways to allow the hood open. HaveBlue did it that way with those same lights
