lift bracket? = my rear end clunk?
I have been having a clunk for awhile and have never noticed these before they are part of the lift kit for it i believe (was on it when i bought it) not to sure what life kit make is but my entire rear end rocks up and down if i tilt the brackets sideways it hits them but it doesn't seem like they are long enough to fix it due to the right side brackets don't even touch i have a few pictures to see if some maybe could help me out. Not sure what the part is called (groove) they where all up and down when i got it
left side bracket i tightened up sideways (hits the groove)
Right side bracket inst hitting the groove i bolted it on sideways (doesn't hit groove)
This is how all the brackets were bolt is striped so cant take it off today its an air shock that says either hijacker or skyjacker beginning of sticker is ripped so cant read it. it also had over extend straps for the shocks
over all pictures not sure how much lift is on it its on 33's will post other bracket pictures tomorrow to see if anyone can figure out the lift or what those brackets are

Not sure of the make of the lift, but the brackets are the upper link mount extensions and washers. The shocks are Skyjacker.
If the bolts are stripped then you only really have 2 choices -
1) Cut and replace bolts
2)Leave it the way it is and weld the extensions in place (Not my favorite choice)
As far as finding out what lift it is, take pics of the front lift including the A-arms and spindles. I'm sure someone will know.

I'd take that stamped steel spacer crap out. Return to factory and put Fj80 springs under it. Most guys i know of get 3" of lift with them,,, I can't hardly believe you need drop brackets for another inch?
Returning to factory mounts WILL make the unit stronger, but you might not get it level... w/o a spring spacer.
Just think about that and let it sink in. Go with what somebody with more experience thinks...

How partial are you to that lift? Was it on there when you bought it? Or is it something you put on?
B/c I can tell you a lot better way to lift it if you're only gonna go with 33's.
Heck, there's a guy here that claims with fender trimming a 1" BL he's got 35's.
You'll get a way better center of gravity, use less complicated and weaker parts... And restore mostly back to stock and pick up some flex...
"Lower-to-lift" kits are just crappy stamped steel extension of the factory stuff anyway...

the coils are oversize and are not stock i know that for sure, i bought this thing just how it was and half dead "engine was leaking oil gloor" but it runs like a champ now - the clunk. id like to keep somewhat of the lift. id like to switch to leaf springs but not sure i can make some of the simple brackets for it.

Why do you have to fabricate brackets again? 
You're worried about fabbing brackets you've already got, (one the rear anyway) and you're going to fab the hangers for Chevy leaves?
