hey guys,
i need to level the rear of my 4runner, my question is should i do it with add-a-leafs, or lift blocks? they both cost about the same.

if your choice is between the two, I would go with add-a-leafs (long style)

I am going to install a set of short style since they where cheap.

I went with 2" blocks, and am glad I did. My springs still sit in the exact same spot as before, so my ride did not get any more harsh. I run 34x9.5's on stock rims and no trimming on the rear fenders, zero rub issues. I am positive that with out the blocks, at full rear stuff, the tire would rub on the frame.
With an add-a-leaf, your springs are more arched at rest, you will have less extension from rest, but more distance to compress. stiffer ride.

Blocks suck, plain and simple.
We usually won't ran and trails if anyone's running blocks.
Seen too many of them spit 'em out and the results are damn ugly.

Yeah, I'm not so worried about "spitting 'em out" with my 22re. I've got new u-bolts that I keep torqued.
