LC Engineering (good/bad)
I ordered a catalytic converter from them. $142.00. Should be here on Thursday. I went to pay and saw the price was the same. I thought "hey, cool, free UPS shipping". Wrong, you need to contact the sales dept. and have them figure it out. I guess I missed that part on thier site.
So any bad experiences, quality of products, customer service probs?

I bought their header and it bolted right on. Couple of months later I bought their dual timing chain kit, and it went on without a problem. They do anwser their phone when it rings, they are polite, and they do cost a little more. When I do call with a stupid question, they answer it, then laugh at me when they hang up the phone, I guess. MY guess is that when you put that part on and fire up your truck, you'll smile, and forget about the shipping.

UPS dropped the cat at work, bolted right in with no problems. The front gasket needed to be held in while I tightened the bolts (no pipe sticking out of the flange to properly hold the gasket).
No more annoying exhaust leak . There may still be a very small one at the manifold, I'll remove the heat shield and check it out. The rest of exhaust is factory Toyota parts. If the manifold is cracked, I just may have to put a header in there.
On a side note, I called tech support to ask which way the cat goes as there is no arrow indicating flow direction. They picked the phone up right away and answered my question.
