knuckle rebuild question
so im rebuilding my knuckle for a SAS and didnt take it apart so im not really sure about some washers, and the TG manual is too blurry to make out.
on the bottom bearing caps there are washers, but I cant tell if they are the lock or flat washers.
It looks like the flat washers go on the bottom bearing cap and the lock ones go on the top above the cone inserts???...is this so.
id call the dealer here with the part #rs but my experience with them in the past is that they really dont know what they are talking about. Ive had to return so many wrong parts to them that I just dont trust their knowledge.
yes I know this technically should maybe be under the 85 section, but there are more people viewing the 94 section (my rig) and you all are the ones who have actually had to sas.
thanks

after thinking about it more it seems the flats would go on top above the locking cones, but thats not what it looks like on the manual, hard to tell...Ive been looking through some rebuild threads but just have not found this Q yet. Ill probably find it but was hoping someone knew right off.

I thought you already had it under your rig.

I know, I put it up like twice ready to go but had to put it off for my birthday camping trip so I could still use the rig, and then my buddies samurai took an extra month than planned parked in my work space. we put yj springs and a bunch of stuff on it.
but shes up on blocks now. got the rear all rebuilt & painted and the front just needs to get those knuckles on, and im on my way. wish I would have been able to get it done before that high lakes trip you guys are planning. i pretty much play music every weekend so that sets me back on progress too.

wabbit, i was just trying to find out what washer went on top of the cone washer...the lock or the flat. I know its probably the flat but just wanted to be sure to put it back the way it came.
