anyway, you just need to determine which prongs are active when the switch is on and those are the ones youll connect the hot to. as far as bringing the fuel pump wire in (assuming youre using the fuel pump), be sure to use the same (if not bigger) gauge wire as what it is currently using and make good connections.

You can tap into the fuelpump wire at the AFM, They may get it started but wont get anywhere fast if at all.
It may start for a second then as soon as air flows through the AFM the pump shuts down.
You Can hook a set of horns to the third pole/secondary side of the switch to let you know its being started. (Yah, Airhorns work nicely).

just to make my point a bit more understandable, the whole point of a hidden kill switch is, it is hidden!

doesnt make much sense to talk about fuel pump splices etc if you want to hang on to your rig, bad guys read these forums also. take all the information you find on here and elsewhere, choose one or as many as you feel necessary and install them on your rig.

it is nice to see all the responses and tips, i figured that as popular as our rigs are to steal, not many would post up easy directions for a thief to use against us.

If its a three prong switch you will use one of the outer prongs and the middle prong is the shared "hot", you can tap into your starter relay wire if its and auto or clutch start switch for a manual but have to also disable the clutch start cancel. I would try hiding the switch somewhere that it is easy yet inconspicious that you disabled your vehicle when you get out of it.

I'd consider that Wabbit, but how would I set the cruise control?

Have to check local laws about the removable steering wheel. In CA they are illegal for a street vehicle. Not that you would get a ticket for it unless its quota week.

Cruise control buttons are on the steering wheel?

I know RB has a removable steering wheel on his rig, and he lives in the luney land of California.

mt Goat.. I'm dealing with the same thing with the steering wheel swap. I was going to look into what it would take to put in the lever off of the side of the steering column. I know that the 96 taco is like that. I don't have a picture to show you but maybe someone does.

That's not exactly the lever I was speaking of but it's an option to look into.

NVM you are talkin about the ones in the Tacos...I think they were most of the toyots that had cruise control. My 93 Celica, my bros Taco and my moms Camry had the same stick.
