just had my 94 weighted at a certified public scale

it weights 4,280lbs. that's 2 tons. wheewww..... i feel better about the 16mpg now.

fellow 2nd gen 4Runner runners, what's your weight and mpg?

4,275 lbs. with me in the rig, my 33's, rollbar and misc. stuff. It was weighed before and after loading sod in the back, so it should weigh in less (stock and empty). I would guess about 3900 lbs. bone stock.

youve found the source of the mpg issue, weight

my 2wd v6 automatic xtracab weighs 3100lbs and gets 19 to 24 mpg

worst tank ever was 18.5, best ever is just over 24.

3.0 isnt underpowered, just overworked.

2500 lbs here...27+ mpg...I am glad I own a 2wd!
