without ANY rubbing? no
my dads old 93 had a 4" bracket lift with 35s and on hard turns they would rub a bit

Considering 31's will fit with slight rubbing w/out a lift, and 35's only add about 2" to the radius of the tire, it shouldn't rub with a 4" lift... but you're going 12" wide ... so you may rub at full lock ... but you've got 4" b/s so that may pull the wheel in a bit to help.
You may rub on the frame with that... You are very likely to rub the rear if you load the back up and compress the springs enough though. See if you can get the tire shop to mount two up front and have a look. A lot of shops will mount them if they're confident you're gonna buy if they don't rub. Discount Tire (I was on a budget) mounted my 31's up front (265/75r16 actually, before I did the suspension lift) to check if they would rub at full lock (which they didn't)... and even jumped up and down on the bumper to help check for rubbing .

Yes, you'll be fine. I had to adjust the steering stops, but that was it. If you have 4" backspacing you'll be in better shap than I was with the 4.5" backspacing on my rims.

Oh, screw it...I'm getting 35s! Bottom line, I'm not happy with the way the 33s fit and it's only money, right? I'll make'm fit, one way or another!

Another thing to think about is gears. Have you already regeared or do you still have stock gears? 22re or 3.0? Auto or manual? Bigger tires on stock gears makes a huge difference.

I just finished putting 4.88s in today, so I'm good there. I've got a strong 22re with a 5speed.
