After Bambi decided to waste my driver fender/door, I began looking for replacements.. The local yard happened to have a clean fender, but I had trouble finding a door. After 5 months and painting season nearing, I decided to just buy a new one from an auto parts retailer. I chose JCWhitney because I've ordered from them before and had excellent service, plus some good coupons!
Paid $137 and it came to my door in a week. In my blindness and readiness to get it installed, I completely swapped over all the door parts and went to install it.. Only to find out it DIDN'T fit. It was warped like mad, completely misaligned.
so I called customer service and they offered 100% $$ back plus I keep the door.. All right, so I'll just order a new door and keep the other for scrap metal. Good idea!
Two days ago I got my second in the mail after a week waiting.. And Lo-n-behold, it's got a freekin dent. RIGHT in the center of the door. Immediately I was ticked. Luckily, there were no creases and it looked easily fixable, so I figured I'd just bondo and deal with it. I got smart this time, so I just bolted the shell on for a dry fit to make sure all was well, and it was also misaligned. Just to be clear, there was a 1/2 inch gap between the rear of the door/truck in the SAME place as the first door..plus a dent! Tomorrow I plan on getting my money back (again) and looking for alternatives to a new door. If anyone has a respectable source with a decent price, I'd greatly appreciate it.
As for JCWhitney, they have lost me as a customer. Both doors' packaging were flawless and they were excellently wrapped, evidence of just crappy manufacturing. For possible buyers, BEWARE.

After looking at the pics you should be able to "massage" the door to fit better.
have you tried bending the top of the door to come more in line with the cab?
My aftermarkets fit much like yours pictured here and I was able to get them pretty close. Kinda hard to tell from the pics but the gap around the entire door doesn't seem that bad....
