I've got my pinion rotated and cv in the rear for the dual case setup
Since I'm running dual cases, everyone suggested a cv shaft, so I put the 86 front cv out of my ifs truck. The shaft is 41" long and at an angle or 20 degrees. I set my 3rd up at 18 degrees. I had a couple of questions:
Is this too much of an angle on the 3rd? Will oil still reach the pinion bearing? What is every else running their angle at?
Also, I am using an IFS cv, so I know it does not have as much of an angle as one from a solid axle, but anyone use it in the rear where the angle isn't that great? It looks like mine will be ok.
Thanks for the help.
