ISR mod and SMOG

im planning on doing the ISR mod really soon. the only question i have is, will i have a problem getting my truck smoged? i live in California.

If there is no CARB sticker on an aftermarket intake, you fail automatically, in theory. I hear that it is true in practice as well.

I would hang on to your factory intake system and install an ISR. You can re-install the factory intake for smog test, if you fail.

I have one of the nice mandrel bent, black painted 3VZE ISR mods that were made by Cootees. All of the fittings, etc are part of the package. My 3.0 went TU. I am doing a 3.4 conversion. I'll sell it to you for 50.00 shipped. PM me if interested.

Yes. I almost got failed because there is no CARB sticker on my intake....keep your original one intact so when you need to smog it you can reinstall it.
