Isr Mod Done Today, pics & What I Noticed.

so here it is,took me about 20 min doin it,lol pretty easy stuff really, when you got the tools and materials, dont ask about the brown color i just had this around so i took it.i dont mind about that swewer line color anyway.
as for what i noticed well i gotta say ,i defenetly notice somethin, more responce, and even better in higher rpms.other than that well sound louder.
and im satified for somethin that small to do. i recomend this mod for sure!

Wow! A genuine 3.turd!!! OMG!!!....lol

Actually, it looks just fine. I like earth tones, anyway.

Congrats on the modification. I did mine a while back and like it, too.

did mine about 2 months ago. by far a good bang for the buck. most of my time was spent finding the materials. i also did not have to adjust my idle. yes it does work like a charm and the 3.O's aRe turds, and wont ever be but a polished turds.. good pics

I don't know about that K&N, man. With your set up, I think a TP roll would be more suited for the application. Maybe Charmin? ....for that "soft" touch? Might "squeeze" a few more horse-poo-wer out of it......

Seriously though....
I drilled my airbox, too. So, just keep your filter really clean and/or change it more often. It has a way of sucking in more junk.

Thanks. It's not anything special. It was the cheapest route I could take. Works just the same, though.

Maybe you are already aware of this, but I thought I'd mention it...just cause it's something I became aware of running a K&N. When it's dry and dusty....if ever it is where you live...you might consider changing your motor oil a little sooner than usual. I use an AC Delco when it's dry, but like to use the K&N when conditions are otherwise. I know it's a trade off on the extra umph, but the thought of fine dust getting through and into the motor is a tad frightening. K&N's don't filter very well when it comes to that.

Change it up? In what way? What's wrong with the way it is?

I was taking a closer look at my intake and I saw that there is a Y pipe comming from the airbox and that other box right beside it then that leads to the elbow/silencer.

How did you connect that?

It's been a while since I've seen a stock set-up myself, but as I recall that little box I think you're referring to comes out entirely. I could be way off...I'd have to go back and look at the removed parts. Tomorrow.
