Intake Gaskets...

Simple question...can you use some form of liquid gasket to seal the manifold and plenum or should I wait for factory gaskets. I wanted to get the engine back together and running this weekend, but can't get gaskets (40 bucks worth - is it worth it?) till next week.

Advice?

gasket

I used hylomar to seal the intake to the block with no gasket at all. I don't know if i would recommend doing that but its been 7,000 miles and no leaks : ). Your best bet is going to be waiting for the gasket and getting it done right. I know i am a hypocrite lol don't judge...
