" update" sunroof question?

Trying to remove my sunroof motor to check the cable and using the FSM it says to rmove the headliner and remove the inner rear view mirror. I cant get the cover off to accses the bolts, does it just pry off? No were in the FSM does it show removal of this piece just says remove it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Don't want to break the inerior light mirror cover in the process.

The whole cover that has the light covers? I'm prying on it pretty hard and its not budging, I can see two bolts under a small cover I popped off right at the base of the mirror but cant accsess them untill the whole outer cover is off.

With that small cover off you want to carefully wedge your screw driver between the metal part you can see and the plastic cover and pry down gently but firmly on the one side and then the other. This will "pop" the cover out of the catches at the back and you'll then be able to pull it off the rest of the way. These are tight catches so don't be afraid to put a little muscle behind it, but only "pry until it pops" if you go too far on one side you might crack the cover.
