ignition control mod

Hey i have an 86 toyota pickup with a 22rte. I resently rebuild the engine and upgraded the turbo to a ct-26. About 4 months after the build the ICM went out I've already spent more money on this thing then i really wanted to and, i was wondering if when i changed the turbo if that could have had something to do with it going out? Am i supposed to be using one off a car that came with a ct26 in it? Does anyone have one that you would care to sale? Is there a way to test the one i have?

ICM??? Do you mean ECM or Ignitor? In either case, I doubt the bigger turbo had anything to do with that.
