IFS lift
Hey guys! Im new to the forum, but not new to toyotas. I have a 94 2wd right now that my dad passed down to me so Ive been driving that saving and waiting to find the right 4wd toyota
Anyways Ive been reading around the forum and Ive been thinking, If I were to want to lift the front how would i go about doing it to get 3-4in of lift safely?
Ik ball joint spacers but I dont want to crank up the T bars. Is there anything else I could do then? And I dont know If I want to spend the money for an expensive kit
Also for the rear If I put lift springs with longer shackles would I have to worry about the driveshaft angles?
(note this would be for a 4wd pickuo not mine) Thanks!

Welcome to Yotatech!!!
Theres a TON of threads and whatnot on here about lifting. Ball joint spacers and shackles in the rear is probably the cheapest way to go. An actually safer due to keeping your COG lower. 4" and youre looking at a bracket lift.

yea i have been doing some searching... maybe not enough. Mainly Im just wondering if theres anything else I can do to the front other than Bj spacers.

Well I would use it as a daily driver/weekend warrior for trails and mud. Id like to run 33x12.50s in the end. I see that downey sells 3in rear lift springs, but then how would I go about matching that height in the front?

Also, I'm going off of the 86-95 trucks and 4Runners. Is that what you are looking at?
As far as Downey Off Road goes. They may not be around much longer, you might want to call and see if you can get an order in...

Seriously, though thats probably the way to go for cheap and EFFECTIVE lifting: ball joint spacers and rear springs. Also, depending on the motor (I4 or V6) you may want to up the gear ratio for the 33's...I say MAY, just depends on what you find!! Happy hunting!!!! Please, again, SEARCH because a lot of people have put many hours into making threads to help out the weekend wheelers(like myself)!!!!! Most of all, when you find something, get out and wheel it and learn to use what you have!!! It makes modifying soooooo much more satisfying!!!!

im goin with 1.5 spacers and new springs in the rear with the shackle flip, just ordered napa ball joints upper lower for $126. then 31x10.50 and bilstein shocks

Just get the ball joints, and lift the rear however you choose, and run 33X10.5s instead. Heck, get the tires first, the narrower tires will barely rub without a lift anyways.
