replace it. bushings are bad most likely. Autozone FA5040 is the arm you want.

Yep X2, brakes and steering are just two things that I feel must be kept up and not boogered together.

and don't let the idiots at AZ tell you the FA5040 arm won't fit your truck. I wanna say the 94 will show it as stock though but just in case it doesn't, the FA5040 is a direct swap. When asked vehicle info just tell them you want the FA5040.

Rajah! I just changed it bout a hour ago. All I can say is that was one messed up oem idler arm! All the bushing were gone and the arm was extremely loose! Replaced it with a Napa Master ride chassis one. Steering is way better and no noise!

The best aftermarket idler arm out there is the AZ FA5040. It really the only arm that SDORI makes their bronze bushings for. Glad ya got it fixed though.

We don't have a Autozone in HAWAII! I wish we did. Also I work for Napa as counterman. I got a 85 Toyota straight axle waiting to do a sas swap. Glad that got good bros like you that help people like me! Mahalos again!

I just replaced the bushings and seal in my 94 pickup. Bought the replacement bushings and seal from my Toyota dealer. Fairly simple job, there is a link on one of these sites that takes you through the step by step process. I can find it for you if you like. Replacement parts cost $28.
