I think i blew the HG!

I'm new to this forum but it seems to have a lot of information to help out every ones needs! I have a 94 3.0 V6 4runner and my problem is I think the HG is gone, or I cracked the block! The truck has 385000km on it now but I have taken care of it with regular maintenance and just put some new rims and 31" MT's on!
Should I:
a) Fix the HG (if that’s the problem!) and keep it?
b) Replace the engine? 3.4L!
c) Cut my losses and sale or part out?

All the help would be appreciated!

first off. Make sure you have a problem you think you do.

What are the symptoms of your problem?

Yard that stupid 3.0 out of there, and swap in a 3.4L.

Pay Vital22RE to build you a harness and Viola!

Vital helped me out a lot with the wiring diagrams for my 3.4 swap.
Spent quite a bit of time on the phone with me going over where the wires went and how they were spliced.

The symptoms are almost chocolate milk look and consistency coolant. I also checked my oil level and it was extremely low and there were little bubbles on the end of the stick! I drained the radiator and flushed it with water, topped up my oil and then ran it for a minute or so with the rad. cap off.......... well the result was this chocolate milk looking stuff and have no clue what to do now!
I would attach a picture of everything but I can’t load any pictures for some reason!

I had thought about the swap many times now... but finding the time and having the 4runner as my daily driver makes it hard.

Did you do all the work yourself?
Did your original transmission just bolt right up?
And did you have to do a lift for this swap to work?
If i can find a motor i would like to attemt the swap and a few helpful hints would come in handy!

take a look in the engine swap section there is a whole forum just for the 3.4 swap. Yes you can use stock engine mounts and transmission.
