I redid the ENTIRE interior...check it out fellas!
The 86 pickup needed some help on the interioir. It had the old buckets, and everything was faded grey...two toned. Here are a few before pictures to see what I was working with.
Well after some time..I picked up some tan leather racing seats. VERY comfortable. They were extrenly easy to install aswell. But now...I had a grey interior with tan leather seats? Well thats no good Thats when the brain started to work. I gutted the interior. I went ahead and bougth a few cans of DUPLICOLOR FABRIC/VINYL spray paint. I did the whole inside of the truck in black including the dash and head liner. I did the inside door panels in tan to match the seats, and the armsrests/window cranks black to throw in some contrast. Let me know what you guys think. The grey crapet comes out soon and gets replaced with herculiner.
and my new mascott for the TC shifter

To do the dash..I just used MINERAL SPIRITS to wipe it down and get it REAL clean. After that....its all duplicolor fabric/vinyl paint. The seats are REAL easy to do.. If you lift up th ecarpet in yuor truck, you'll see a bar that runs across the floor. The original brackets mount to the front of that bar. The new seats mount to the top of that bar. For the rear, I just marked holes in the floor and driled. I used a 1 inch puck in the rear to make it sit level with the front.

It's definitely different. I like it, but I personally would have used a medium brown and would take a scrub pad and dull the shine on the dash pad.
Love the seats too.
