I need a Turbo head asap!

If anyone has one, has a friend that has one, or has access to one, let me know, please. As far as I know, manufacturers have stopped producing the 22RET turbo head, and I need one....in good shape. I dont care if it has no valves or springs, or if its fully built. I'm going to do my own thing with it so a bare head works just as well.

Thanks,

-Erik B

I thought the 22RTE used the same head as the 22RE?

*edit- my bad... I was misinformed....

The RTE uses a 63CC chamber while the EFI uses a 53CC chamber.

Use a regular head - IMHO, the biggest issue with the turbo motors is the measly 7.5:1 compression ratio.

Nope. I talked to him today and he has no new turbo heads, and his suppliers no longer make them.

I'm spending too much time and money, and I'm going too far with this motor to use the wrong head. And a turbo head will flow more.

New castings? Or used?

DC will check the head for warpage before he sends it to you.
He is very reliable and backs up his parts.
