I need a steering stabilizer...suggestions pls
I have a 90 pickup 3vze. I put some BFG Mud terrain km2's on they are one size larger than recommended. I sometimes get some feedback from the steering wheel : steer bump. Would a steering stabilizer help as much as i think it will? I was looking at fabtek at 4wheel parts for around $35 (not a kit tho), anything else better? Also do i need a kit? Anyone have recommendations? Thanks

No, the steering stabilizer won't help as much as you think. Checking play in the steering will though. Maybe do an alignment and as for more caster angle. Tight steering linkages, and caster angle will do what no steering stabilizer will. My Pro Comp steering stabilizer wasn't much stiffer than stock, and its already leaking oil after one year. It made NO difference to the steering.

I've got a dual steering stabilizer from www.northwestoffroad.com . Had it for several years and can't complain. NWOR probably won't have it in stock, as last time I tried to order stuff from them it seemed nothing was in stock.
