i could use a little help guys

ok so today i replaced the knock sensor wire on my 91 4wd v6 3.0, because it was bad and i was tired of being in limp mode, etc... it was a big pain in the ass(just had to get that of my chest). so whenever i finally finished i had a couple problems. i started it up and it was out of limp mode, but if i let the engine idle, it shuts off.

so heres everything i messed up. while manhandling the intake, i broke a sensor in half, im not sure what its for but it was on the back of the lower air intake manifold where there were three sensors, there were two sensors each having two wires on it and a sensor with one wire on it, i broke the one with two wires going to it on the driver side. also on the passenger side the vacuum line from the valve cover to the air intake broke so i just plugged it up until i can get to some more hosing. and there was a small vacuum line on the back of the air intake that i couldn't find where it connected, and i dont remember taking it off even.

so does anyone know whats causing my motor to shut off at idle?

i've heard of vacuum leaks make a truck run rough, but would it make the motor shut off like mine is?

The vacuum line in the back of the intake is more than likely the hose going to the EVAP canister. I'd unplug my temp sensor and see what happens, but I just finally got this thing running for the first time since November.

What did you try? Unplugging the broken sensor? If it's broken, it's just like unplugging it. I was saying that someone with a running 3.0 unplug theirs, and see what happens.

a vacuum line on the valve cover????? on my 3.0 theres only the pcv on there, is it a big hose like 3/4 inch? if so theres your issue its the pcv valve hose. if not im lost. the sensor in the back is the cold start injector temp sensor, yes it will make issues for ya, i bought one off ebay and it works fine

yeah its a 3/4 od with a 3/8 id. i replaced that hose and my engine runs smoother, but still shuts off at idle. if i rev the engine up to above 1000 rpms its fine, and its drives like normal, its just whenever it goes down to idle, it doesn't stop at where it should idle, but shuts off. would that sensor do that?

I know it's Sunday, but replace the sensor if you haven't already. It's there for a reason, and it may very well do what you're saying if it's still broken. Did you find out where the vacuum line went (not the PCV hose)?
