Off the cuff

Downey used to sell a KIT.... but Id just get the parts...

Manual hubs (doh)
2 locking "nuts" (54mm) per side as well as the locking tab ring..

FSM for the preload "how to" or look for a how to repack yer IFS wheel bearings web page and follow the preload measurement part.

VERY easy to do. I got a newly rebuilt & powdercoated pair of AISIN hubs off eBay for $60.00.

we did the exact same mod last week on my truck.

I found 2 used aisin hubs for a great price (free )

Its pretty much a direct bolt in.

Take off the add plate and bolt up your manual hub.

Do you have ADD or true auto locking hubs ?
Difference in what's required to do the conversion.
