Hub centric or not? Help with new rims?
HI all. I wanna get some new rims for my 92 4wd PU. Likely some matte black steelies or similar. Trying to figure out about the hub-centric thing. Almost all the rims I see seem to be NOT hub-centric, but from what I know hub-centric is best. Should I keep looking? Or buy spacers? Or... Also, if anyone has favorite fairly cheap rims, let me know (I am running 31 x 15 x 10 MTs on stock rims). Thanks.

Never paid that any attention. Steel rims use acorn style lugnuts thus lug centric. OEM style rims use flat washer lug nuts, thus hub centric. Never had a problem running either on any Toyota 82-08 thus far.

The problem is when you get alloy wheels that don't have centering lugs. All later model Yota alloys fit the older gens (at least the 4x4 models do). You can pick them up CHEAP if you find someone who put mondo 24"s on their new Tundra:
