how would i add cruise control to my truck?
There has to be a way. I don't care if it doesn't look OEM/ Factory, as long as it works properly, I don't even care if it's not electronic (some kind of a dial setup?) it does have to be cheap!
any ideas?
thanks!

I imagine you could swap the cruise setup from a donor vehicle into your truck, though I would guess it would be a PITA (maybe I'm wrong). Re: a mechanical setup, I have seen homebuilt cable throttle controls using an old-style bike shifter mounted to the gearshift. I should point out that using something like this on public roads would be a bad idea, and might even have serious legal implications if it ever contributed to an accident.

Pretty simple actually if you are on the cluey side of life. There are hundreds of kits out there, some can look very OEM if installed correctly. It all depends on what you call cheap however. You are probably looking at around 350AUD +

first reply, "did you try unlocking it.." (I didn't)
I dont think I responded and asked a mod to erase it... and yea, Im ASE certified!!! hahahaha I wonder why I was so stumped?:drin k:
in that particular order..

i did figure out the brakes-much easier than i thought- i didn't even have to take the caliper off/ apart (the pins were a PITA to get out/ put back in)
