How to remove rust from INSIDE box frame?
Just wondering if anyone knows how to remove rust from the INSIDE of box iron?
I'm doing a frame off resto on my truck and need to know how to get rid of rust inside the box frame.
Can't get inside with the sandblaster.
I'm thinking some sort of acid dip or something?...
If anyone know how I'd love to hear about it!
Thanks!

what is the consistency of POR15? possible you could by some and use a spray gun to spray in there? it wouldn't remove it but it would convert it on the inside... maybe i have the wrong idea about this stuff, i've never used it.

If the frame is bare you could stand on end and let the flakes fall out , with some tapping help. Then get a loooooooong wand up in there n apply used oil or something like that, or POR or Rust Bullet.

Long wand sandblaster is the only thing that i can think of. and then use the same technique to paint it. Just make sure to cover all surfaces so you don't have the same problem in the future.

I've done it a couple of ways
"wet blast" ... which is a hi pressure water based "spray" which includes sand ... works awesome , but expencive
I have also spent my own personl time doing it , about 6 hours , with a hi pressure hose banging and scraping
then both were frames treated with POR 15 inside and out .. using a "wand"

Gonna do some more digging and see if I can get someone closer
