have I seen this for sale somewhere b-for?
looks familiar
that's what I paid for my 91 22re man. trans. with 280k on the meter, but had a fresh paint job not 2 weeks old, and brand spank'n new tires with the stickers till on em too
pretty good deal for that runner imo
no motor pic though?

I doubt it was ever for sale anywhere else I just painted it this year myself and recently put on the 31's and the shackles! The motor is clean and thanks for the compliments on the truck I have done allot of work to this truck. This is what is used to look like:

Not much to say about the value, but the 4' in my avatar was bought for 1600 and has about 1900 in wheels, tires, lift and stereo added. 237,000 US miles on the odo.
Took the valve cover off when I first got it and the head was shiny, so I'm guessing the head was worked on, since my 91 had crud around a few of the valve springs.
Either way,

I bought my 1990 (auto V6) for $1000, paint is good, interior is okay, needs tires. Engine runs good. Transmission was Toyota-rebuilt about 15,000 miles ago, 177k on everything else.

Yep. It's been my experience that people will make an offer, even if the price is obviously inflated. I'd list it for $4000 OBO and see what it yields. You can always relist at a lower price, but it is hard to relist at a higher price.

truck looks awesome! i think you can easily get 3k for it, you just have to find the right place to put it. people really respect toyota (most of the time) so someone will know what that very clean looking 4runner can do!
