How hard is it to replace fuel injectors??

4 starters, a brief description of the vehicle your working on normally helps get some replies
If its your 99 you're talking about you're in the wrong spot.
definitely would be a good idea to get a Factory Service Manual (try Ebay) or there is a sticky here somewhere that will link you to a site where you can dl it. read through that to get an idea of what you are dealing with. On my 89 3.0L it wasn't all that complicated, had to remove air intake manifold to get at fuel rails, which also had to be removed. just take lots of pictures.
Youll probably have to repressure the fuel system as well which is easy enough to do. There is a way to activate your fuel pump by jumping two terminals in your "control box" (forget what its called) and just unhook the return fuel line and pump a bunch of fuel through your system. Do a search, its on here somewhere.

if you're dealing with the 22re in your sig, you should remove the upper plenum. after that, it's almost a walk in the park. The hardest part is getting the wiring out of the way. Then it's the fuel line fitting at the front end of the rail, two small bolts and lift the rail up. Many times the injectors will come up with the rail. The injectors are held in place by the rail and each has an o-ring at the top (which is why they tend to stick in the rail) and a seal into the manifold. The rail only has to lift about an inch and that should give enough clearance to get the injectors out.
