how can I fix this broken box?
What would be the best way for me to reattach this broken attachment point?
I am not sure if washers would hold due to the ripped plastic. Any ideas appreciated! Thanks!

If is is ABS plastic, ABS glue/solvent (from the plumbing dept) will mend it. It should be labeled as to the type of plastic. The grill is ABS, for example.

bypassing that box
thanks for all the replies, I have lots of ideas now. I had not even heard of plastic welders before, I thought it was a joke at first...then I checked online and realized it was serious!! thanks for telling me about that.
I am curious about the bypassing option...what is the name and purpose of this box anyways, and if I bypass it is there any disadvantage or positive effect?
I have the ISR mod and the FIPK.

If there's enough plastic 'meat' left you can drop a hot washer on there and let it melt into the plastic. I've used that trick a time or two and it's worked fine on other stuff.

there are so many good ideas in here. I love that idea of melting a hot washer into the plastic. also the idea of bypassing it entirely. the solution I finally followed was (I quote) Burnstar's solution to: "Drill a hole and zip tie that sumbtch"
thanks guys that worked great, if it happens again I will bypass it entirely or get a new one
thanks again for all the tips!!!!!!!! I learned a lot from this thread!!!!!
