horrible gas mileage after rebuild
ever since i replaced the head gasket on my v6, it's had the worst gas mileage. Any ideas?

Vac leaks? Intake gaskets replaced in rebuild? Fuel leaks? Any trouble codes? Plugs and wires NGK or OEM? Exhaust leak before o2?

Fuel Filter? 02 Sensor? Clogged Cat? a couple things to look into

no vac leaks, gaskets replaced,no fuel leaks, no exhaust leaks but i did just find a stored 21 code. I'm going to replace the o2 sensor and see what happens.

cam timing off?
and before replacing the O2, clear the code and drive a while then see if it returns.

There's also the possibility that you converter may be partially clogged.
