Hi there, I've got a '87 Toyota pickup, the engine is a 22re from a '87 4runner. I've noticed a significant fuel leak from beneath my fuel pump area. Checked the lines running to it, no cracking or holes. Removed my fuel pump and noticed a hole underneath it. Is that hole normal? Could it be what is causing the fuel leak? Like I said, the leak is significant, literally squirting, dripping fuel.

You don`t have a 22Re engine unless that picture is not yours .

The EFI pumps are in the fuel tank.

Just what engine do you have??

EFI or Carburetor ??

Carburetor diaphragm in fuel pump worn out.
