reatard your timing to 0 degrees to lower cylinder pressure during combustion, you should pass, mine did with skyrocketing high no readings. it ran real sluggish but passed. i then returned it to spec and drove for two more years. you could always find the cause later afterwards so you wont be in a time crunch

Well I don't know the gear ratio its all stock though its automatic the tires are 235/75r15. There are no leaks on the egr diaphragm. I have applied vacuum to it and it does want to stall. I tested the egr vsv (green one) by blowing air into it and applying power to it and tests fine according to procedure. I tested the egr modulator according to procedure and tests fine.
I will have to double check on intake to make sure no cracks are on it but there are non that I can see. The only thing I haven't checked is how much vacuum I have since I don't have a vacuum gauge.

I did replace the egr..its not new but there are no holes in it and opens and closes fine when I put vacuum on it.

I won't pass smog unless my timing is set at 10bdc. They check timing at the smog.

Was the line blocked? Did you clean it out? (let us know how you did it, and which one)

Good job!

Yea clogged along with the other issues I found with egr system. So finally passed after I noticed I had low vacuum on throttle body port "E" and very low vacuum on throttle body port "R". I just took like a 24gauge solid wire and stripped off the insulator and used the wire to feed it through the ports from the inside of the throttle body to clear the holes since the throttle body cleaner couldn't unclogg it. Wire worked perfectly to push all the gunk out of there. Then sprayed down the ports with the cleaner.
