Auction purchase? Salvaged title? What're your plans for it?

Took you long enough. Welcome back!

So what are the plans for the new one? Interior looks to be in great shape, looks like one fender, a hood, some work on the cross support and you'll be good to go. I don't mention the bumper and grill because.... well we KNOW you're going to fab up something crazy.

yes it was from a salvage auction, but the best part is i got a clean bill of sale and as far as plans well fix her up, and make a super mint daily driver, Doug thorley headers, full stereo, tint.
and hopefully 33.10.5 and rock armor

33/10.50's and rock armor for a "super mint daily driver"? Guess you plan to do some crawling over Hondas at the mall. Just kidding. Great find and good luck with the build!

Wow...the deals must be MUCH better where you live. $2200 would get you a beat up pick-up with rusty rear leaf mounts in the Northeast.

I had to shell out $3,000 for mine (93 DLX base), and the body was relatively rust free, but definitely bumped up. Actually, it was $3,300, but the seller took off $300 because it was hit between when I put a deposit on it and when I picked it up.

I've seen rust free 2nd gen 4Runners being sold in the $3-5K range depending on miles/condition.

if the 3.0 runs, and it has lowish miles... leave it stock. if you plan on modding it, save money towards a 3.4 swap... you'll thank me later.

oh the only reson i was gonna touch the engine is i hate the stock headrs and that they IMO cause the head gasket problem, so i want the headrs.

Nice find. The body looks pretty clean and straight minus the front damage. Looks good on those taco rims too

Update.

So i fianly got the truck home this weekend, and there wasnt any frame damage, it had just hit above the truss bar. so my radiator got bent back into the cranck shaft pulley. however looking over the truck it looked like it had been very well maintained and the fluid changed reguraly. and to my suprise i found it has a rear 2" coil spacers, to help elimante the saggy rear end.

so while waiting on parts i started into my debaging and destripping the truck for cleanner steet look.

onto the pictures
