Hey efi 91 sr5 v6 need help wont fire?
Hey guys i just got a toyota the other day its a 91 v6 SR5 3.0 3vze 5 spd and im running into problems 2 days in. I had a 92 22re 5 years ago and cant remember much from it so any help appreciated. and yes i looked up other posts allready and they have helped me alot for finding the cor and looking for other sources for it to die.
MY PROBELM:
Driving home everything was great and it suddenly started to miss and died on me in the intersection.note(it still cranks over and has spark). pulled it home and today asked the previous owner about it and he previously had the 15 amp fuse for the efi melt down and decided to just bypass it and wire it directly to the efi relay(not good) so i pulled the fuse box out to see the back and another wire to the efi relay looked really hot and melted(White with red stripe) and his but connection of a bypass. So i went and got a new fuse box from the junkyard and wired it in at the harness and junked the old one. i was hoping that was my fix and no. So i went to see if it would fire and no. so i checked the fuel pump and put my voltage tester in the fuel pump wire connection and no volts. so i jumped Fp and B+ to test and i got 12v and have fuel but no fire. i checked the COR relay and its still fine and cross checked it with another truck. i hope it didnt fry my ecu but its all i have left in my mind to check. One other thing i thought of was what if somthing in my ignition wasnt sending power to the efi fuse? and down the line?
ANY HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED

I have an ecu from a 91 ext cab 4x4 v6 truck I'll let go cheap if you need it. I'm in TN/KY and will be going out to utah for the holidays so if you can meet me I can bring it too.
