Hesitation in the gas pedal and occasional hard to start

I have a 1994 Toyota Pickup 22RE Manual Transmission (VIN: 4TARN81A3RZ173174). For about 2 months now I have been having problems with the acceleration on it. When I press the gas pedal not more than ...... says 1 inch (I guess), it goes just fine. But when the pedal is pressed more than that it wants to hesitate like it isn't getting fuel enough. Also sometimes it will start like it is suppose to then other times it hardly wants to start at all or sputters when it does start (for 20 or 30 secs).

I was told it was the Throttle Position Sensor, so I changed it ($86.00 Autozone). I am still getting the same results. I really need some good advice. This is driving me crazy! Please help!

I would try a good fuel injector cleaner. Go with techron from napa. Works like a charm. Maybe even do a fuel filter while your at it.

I've seen the rubber hose in the tank from the fuel pump deteriorate and cause similar symptoms
