HELP::Toyota measurement needed

WTF? I posted this thread. 2DoorRunner replied, I use the link from the email notification and the thread is gone! Whats up with that?!

I'd measure my own dam truck but it is 3000 miles from home. I've got 1 day to finish this up and take back with me.

I trying to fab up my sliders mounts while at home and need a measurement. The truck is an 89 DLX and I need to know the distance from the outside of the frame to the pinch weld/seam under the door.

First of all...chill out.

It was deleted because in your original thread you didn't say that you were unable to access your own truck.

he fell asleep with a smoke in his hand caught his hair on fire burned down his place, jumped out of a window looking like chucky then got hit by a bus. im sure someone will figure out the rest

My bad for assuming folks would give me the benefit of doubt. But I guess you don't know me... Maybe posting pics of my junk as I ask would help?

The sliders (in Vancouver), 1.75 sq & round tube. Bent with greenlee hyd bender.

The brackets, 2" sq tube w/1x2 tube gussets (in Alaska)

in the background, 52" ags, rocks w/arbs, 4 linked F&R, rear discs, narrowed crewcab ...

yotarover thanks, 12" is too much for sure, 9-9.5" is probably close enough. I may go to town and start driving the parking lots looking for a rig. Yeah I did post over on alaska4x4network but they know me there and know the truck ain't at home.

Now that sounds like something I would do. Well, I have done it. Recently too. just to get a measurement.

Thanks yotarover

I gotta get this cut, welded up, packed and in the mail so it's there when I go back to work. Then in a couple weeks when I get time, fit everything to the rig. Never enough time in the day...

Better get off my a$$

went to walmart and found a rig 5.5" at the door. Pretty much got'm done except for the 2 that'll go behind the front wheels. I remember those are longer and will need to be beveled at the frame.

Enough with the back and forth.

2Door has a point and he's right - he wasn't directing it at anybody in particular.

snowbear,

You definitely look like you've got some fab, and some measuring, skills.
