Help with seats

Is it possible to install 2nd gen seats on a 1st gen 4runner? I have an 1989 one and a friend is parting out his 2nd gen 1994. I was wondering if i could get it's front bucket seats and install them on mine. The mofo owes me so they would be really close to free!!... I would appreciate any kinda of input1!!! Thanks!

Depends on which seats... the buckets would almost certainly work but you might find the split bench a little wide.
