Help! Need help adjusting TPS, Faulty?
I have a 3vze 90 pickup. I am not sure if i have a faulty tps or if there is something else wrong. My idle is high 1500rpm and when i place my foot on the break it bounces down a few 100rpms then bounces back. I read up somewhere that the injectors cut off when braking to allow for easier braking. (it could be a vacuum leak too i think) but right now i just want to get my idle down. My idle screw is maxed out. Yesterday i went out and bought a ohm meter and adjusted my tps. This did not change the idle one bit, the truck runs exactly the same. Does this mean my TPS is faulty? or could something else be the culprit? Any help is greatly appreciated!

The idle screw is maxed "in". Would i need to take off the throttle body to get to the aux air valve? Does the throttle body gasket have to be replaced too?
Thanks

So i just put a paper clip between terminals e1 and te1. My idle does drop but only slightly is this normal. Seems like my tps is fine. ( drops from 1600rpm to 1400ish). please reply..i plan on taking off the tb and soaking it next but need to know if i can reuse the gasket.
