Help my wipers wont work neither will my back glass!
I have a 95 4runner....seems both have went out at the same time. My back glass still works if I put the key into the door but doesnt work at the switch. I checked the "wiper" fuse and it looks good. Also my moonroof hasnt worked in the last month or so..could all this be related? Any help is appreciated!

The wipers in my 95 Runner stop working every once in while as well.
I have to wiggle the fuse that's in the kick panel to get them to work again.
I know I'm going to eventually have to pull the fuse cluster and tighten the wire terminations on the back since I've already tried to tighten the sockets the fuse fit into.

In a few of my yota's...I have had to spread the prongs on the fusees for different things, to make them work... after time, they get loose and dont make a good connection....

If the rear window works with the key but not with the switch, then it's not fuse related. I don't know about the '95 model, but on my '88 the rear wiper and rear window switch are in the console. Sounds to me like your switch panel came unplugged somehow.

I was going to suggest that you make sure the trunk lock is engaged, as I have on several occasions left it unlocked and tried to open the window via the switch only to go white in the face with fear that my rear window went the way of several other failing rear windows on this forum. I'm just glad I got to the problem before I posted the question here!
