help find this strange high pitch and clanking noise
High pitch noise:
Sometimes when I take off from a dead stop my truck makes a squealing kind of noise. It sometimes lasts longer when I turn from a dead stop. And sometimes it doesent do it at all.
Now it is not a fan belt kind of a squeal where it is constant and stepping on the gas makes it go away. It is just for the first initial take off. And it is not as high pitch as a fan belt either.
Almost kinda sounds like a windshield washer pump when it is dry, with that robotic monotone sort of squeal.
Clanking sound:
When I crank the steering wheel hard to the left or right it makes a harsh klanking sort of popping sound making me wonder if my CV's are OK. Someone told me yotas have a warning click thing that sounds like the CV's are shot to prevent cranking on the wheel. Any truth to this?

Popping sound is your steering stops/limiters. Grease them or remove them.
I don't know what to tell you about the squeal. Is it related to letting your clutch out or do you have an auto tranny? If manual, I'd suspect your throwout bearing.
