HELP: driveshaft/pinion flange

I just installed an elocker in the rear of my 86 Turbo regular cab 5spd pickup

I used a triple drilled pinion flange on the third member, but It still wont line up! also the bolts are 11mm instead of the standard 10mm (both have a 14mm head)

Did someone mess with my truck before I got it or is this specific to Turbo trucks???!!!

Also the slip joint is at the transfer case end instead of the differential end...is that supposed to be that way?

the pinion flange on my truck is bigger than the 4cyl/6cyl 4x4 trucks I have looked at....

The guy who set up my third member is telling me that something is wrong with my truck i.e. someone messed with it in the past.

He is wrong!!

The turbo trucks use a 11mm diameter drive shaft bolt You should have known this before starting.

Most likely be easier to change the rear flange on the drive shaft if it is still apart.

Or replace the flange on the E-Locker

thanks! it looks like the turbo trucks have the same pattern as the fj60....66mmx66mm square pattern...... with 11mm bolts....

will a standard ujoint flange fit on the end of the driveshaft?

Since I don`t have any out of the vehicle right now I can`t say for sure without really looking.

But I know you can get some different combinations in u-joints if different size joints are installed on the turbo truck

The issue being the outer size of the caps between the vehicles may be different
