help with automatic to manual window conversion

My power windows in my 86 turbo 4runner have been working on and off for the past couple of years so I decided to switch them to manual window cranks so that they will be more reliable. I bought the appropriate window regulators online for my 86 4runner. Today when i tried to install them only 2 out of the 3 bolt holes lined up, and when i bolted everything together and tried out my crank, the window went up at an angle. Has anyone else ran into this problem while converting their windows from power to manual?

I did this same conversion in my 86 4runner. Sounds like you need to rotate the regulator until all 3 bolts line up. All 3 bolts do line up.

Good luck
