HELP! 92 4runner fuel issue
So I jumped onto a project that someone else started and i need a bit of help. It's a 92 4runner with a 3.0 and a "freshly rebuilt" top end. Everything seems clean and in order but when I fire it up it simply dumps fuel into the intake and i can light the exhaust on fire ( i didn't but i can) I checked the fuel lines, rail, diaphragms, sensors, and fuel injectors and the only thing i could find was the plastic ring on the bottom of 2 injectors were cracked. I'm not sure where to go next, any suggestions?

Could you have an injector stuck open? I've had that happen to me (on a completely different vehicle), which immediately flooded it and killed the engine.
(I'm not sure how you'd check this, but if you're thinking of something like cranking it with the plenum (upper intake manifold) off, be sure to disconnect the coil wire.)

The pintles or orings being cracked cause lean issues, It sounds like you have a short in one of two wires that runs from the injectors to the ECU is shorted to ground.
This causes the injectors to stay open when power is put to them.
